# Hosting and balance

> Keep Desk hosting, AI usage and transaction costs separate.

A hosted Desk has a hosting plan. Review the price and renewal terms shown when you create it. Your account balance is separate from the money in your trading wallets.

| Cost | What it pays for |

| Desk hosting | Keeping the hosted workspace running. |
| AI usage | The provider connection powering your agents. Your subscription or managed AI arrangement determines this. |
| Chance checks | Optional action reviews when enabled. |
| Transaction fees | Trading, bridging and any network costs the route does not sponsor. |

Use the account's **Add money** or top-up flow to fund its balance. Sending tokens to a trading wallet funds that wallet, not hosting.

Hosted Desks keep running when you close the browser or phone app, provided hosting remains active. A provider outage, expired AI sign-in or usage limit can still prevent an agent from working.
