# Bridge USDC privately

> Move USDC between an EVM wallet and your private Starknet balance.

Supported EVM networks are **Base, Arbitrum, Optimism and Ethereum**. The route uses native USDC and Circle CCTP Fast, which charges a quoted fee.

## Into Starknet

> Move 10 USDC from my Base wallet into my private Starknet balance.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Quote the move">Privacy Agent checks the Desk's wallets, available USDC and route fees.</Step>
  <Step title="Send USDC through Circle">The agent starts the authorized transfer and follows Circle's confirmation.</Step>
  <Step title="Receive privately">A dedicated receiving account claims into the private pool. Your regular public Starknet wallet does not receive the USDC first.</Step>
  <Step title="Confirm the balance">The agent reports completion once the pool deposit is confirmed.</Step>
</Steps>

## Back to an EVM wallet

> Move 5 USDC from my private Starknet balance back to my Base wallet.

The agent prepares the private withdrawal, follows the Circle transfer and checks the destination result. It uses the receiving EVM wallet assigned to the Desk.

## While it runs

The agent sends progress updates and checks pending steps every few seconds. Circle and the networks determine the actual completion time; Fast is not a promise of instant settlement.

If a step is interrupted, the Desk can resume the saved bridge instead of starting another transfer. Keep its existing progress record.

The source transfer and public withdrawal remain visible on their networks. [What stays private](/privacy/visibility) explains the boundary.
