# Fees and sponsored gas

> Network gas, trading fees and bridge fees are different costs.

Chance can sponsor network gas on supported EVM and Solana routes through Alchemy, and on supported Starknet actions through its paymaster and relay connections.

When a quote says gas is sponsored, you do not need to reserve extra ETH or SOL for that network fee. Availability depends on the wallet, network and action.

Sponsorship does not remove every cost:

| Cost | Where it appears |
| - | - |
| Trading or liquidity fees | In the venue's swap or order quote. |
| Bridge fees | In the cross-chain route. |
| Circle Fast fee | In a USDC privacy bridge quote. |
| Solana account setup | In routes that need a new token account. |
| Private relay fee | Quoted before the action and paid from the private balance when applicable. |

Ask for the expected amount received and total fees before a large move. The agent should use the actual quote and your budget, not a fixed estimate for gas.

For a pending action, let the Desk follow its saved transaction. A missing reply is not evidence that nothing was sent.
